The Lakes Area Chorale presented the cantata, "A Quiet Christmas" this past Sunday afternoon. It was such a beautiful concert, with a great message! (The Chorale is comprised of singers from various churches in the area.)
Uncle T. was the director and Aunt Linda Sue sang alto.
A glimpse of the delicious lunch the ladies served after the performance!
Once a month our church family gets together to sing, share favorite Bible verses, and visit. This month was at Pastor's little house. It was a cozy fit, and Courtney ended up sitting in the middle of the room! She saw me about to take this picture and started laughing!! (This picture makes me laugh - a bunch of very serious singers and one laughing girl in the middle!)
Mr. H. who loves to sing Daddy Sang Bass. :-)
Mrs. C. playing the piano.
Pastor telling the story about a sculpture he has.
I saw this picture on the wall in Pastor's study and had to take a picture of it!
Mom's birthday was yesterday and Ana made a delicious Panini sandwich for her meal! It was made with sliced beef and turkey, Havarti cheese, baby spinach, homemade onion marmalade and a horseradish sauce drizzled in it. It was amazing!!
A creamy Oreo and Mint dessert was the cake!
In the evening we went to hear the Crist Family in concert in a nearby town with friends from church. It was a wonderful Christmas concert, and a great way to end the day!!
Tuesday evening I hosted a Premier Jewelry party! Ana and I had gone to a party at a neighbor's and really enjoyed the lady who sold the jewelry (Molly) and the jewelry itself, which is beautiful. It is a Christian company and most of the profit goes to mission work. Friends from church came for the evening and we all had so much fun!
This past Saturday evening we went to hear a report about the mission work that is being done in Russia by a group some friends of ours work with called Agape Unlimited.
Our friend's made Russian Blini and served us all a tasty 'lunch'!
Watching the slideshow and listening to Dr. Bill (standing in the red sweater) speak about his medical work in Russia. They go to remote villages and give medical aid, fit people for eye glasses, etc. and share the gospel with the people.
