Quietly Waiting

This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
"The Lord is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I hope in Him!"

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.

So beautiful Alyssa. :) Your pictures are lovely...snow is beautiful. And this is one of my most favorite passages of scripture.

Dear Alyssa,
I have goosebumps right now as I read this wonderful verse from Lamentations. It is the verse that I have sent to my sister in love Tammy and my brother David as she fights cancer. She is young, and we are shocked at how fast it is ravaging her body, but she loves the Lord and is not questioning! Meanwhile her father who is a retired general in the Army and is not saved, is listening to the faith at work in his daughter Tammy. God indeed works in mysterious ways. Yes, we all wait for spring, but we also wait for the day we see Jesus face to face...what a day that will be!!! Thank you for sharing your lovely photography and your own vital faith!
