Nannying

Amy and I started a full time nanny job 2 weeks ago for a family with 6 children. (We still have our part time job with a family from church.)  We had been praying for another job and we are thankful for this one that the Lord provided by word of mouth! We've enjoyed getting to know the family and being able to help! Last week we stayed over for 3 days and 2 nights while the parents and 2 of the children went out of state for a doctor's appointment/tests.
Here are a few pictures!
Working on school

"Hungry Henry" and his dragon. He is very creative!
Here he is with his lion mask. =)

"Painting Petunia" made a delicious Chocolate Mint Cashew ice cream which is dairy and sugar free!
She needs to market this stuff - it's SO good!

Amy and I with "Baby Buttersnap." =)
Advice from BB on how to rid your home of mice:
"Just put soap and water all over the floor and then the mice will slide out the door."

"Hungry Henry" brought in a large icicle and put it in the freezer for his dad to find when he got home and went to get his coffee beans in the morning!
Surprise!

Deer crossing the pond out back.

I was talking with "Baby Buttersnap" about the deer and asked him where he thought they were going.
He replied "Maybe they are going to visit a dear friend."  =D

We were talking with the kids one morning about how cold it was outside (-16). The youngest folded his arms, leaned back against the couch, and said in a very serious voice, "I am NOT happy about this winter."

Kids say the cutest things!

It is so nice to keep up with what you are doing from a distance (though closer would be nice:[)! God bless you as you serve Him and these families. By the way, does Painting Petunia share her recipes?
