Trip to the Hospital

The parents and two of the children of the family we nanny for were out of town for a few days, so Amy and I stayed over with the four remaining children.

Practicing reading with Amy. =)

The little guy started saying that his leg was numb and hurt etc.

The mom was very concerned and she arranged for their driver to come and pick him and me up and drive us down to the airport to pick them up on their return flight and then take us all to the children's hospital. Whew!
Charlie, the driver is very nice and kind.
I had brought along some books to read to the little guy and so Charlie got to listen to them too! =D
It turned out that he had a fracture near the end of the leg bone
(I don't remember the proper name for it!), so he has a cast for now.
He was a trooper through it all.

Favorite Books From 2015

I didn't have as much time to read last year since I was so busy with work,
but I was still able to read some great books!
These are my four favorites from 2015 =)  What are yours?

Fixing Fur

Mrs. R. from church asked if I would fix a fur coat a friend had given her a while back.  I've never sewn fur before but it turned out well - and I was even able to find propper coat clasps online to replace the missing ones!

Christmas Gathering!

Christmas with Dad's family was extra fun this year - two of our cousins had had babies a couple days apart in November!
It was such fun to meet Elizabeth and Olivia in person!  Such cuties!!
Great-grandma, grandma, mom, and baby!

Great-grandma, mom, and baby.....missed getting baby's grandma though.

New Years Eve!

We had our friend Michelle over for the evening, while Dad and Mom went to a New Years Eve event at church.
It was good to think back over the year together and the things we are thankful for, and the lessons we've learned. =)
We girls  made pizza together, played LIFE, and then watched a movie and some Sue Thomas FBEye shows. It was a fun evening!

Happy 2016!!!
