Memorial Day Picnic!

 Friends of ours have an annual Memorial Day picnic on their farm each spring. 

And they always come up with amazing group games! =D

 Stringing cheerios on a string with two members of the team blindfolded.

 The teams had to stand on one board and move the other in front, 

repeating this 5 times...without falling off...and they were timed! 

 Competition for who can start a fire and roast and eat a marshmallow the fastest! =D

4th of July at the Lake!

The family Amy and I nanny for invited us up to their lake house for the 4th of July.  

We had such a fun day together!!

Due to fires in Canada it was hazy out all day.  Which was nice since no one got a major sunburn!  We went tubing, swimming, played badminton, and I tried a paddle board for the first time which was great fun. =)

Twins Game!

We went to our first Twins game last night! (Well, first for me and Amy.) 

It was so much fun, and the Twins won!!!

Fireworks and Freedom

 Dad took us girls to see fireworks Thursday evening.  It's been several years since we've been able to go to fireworks and I really enjoyed it!!!

All the noise of the fireworks is fun, but sometimes I think, "What if that was really bombs and guns going off, and not a fun display for a holiday?"  It reminds me to be thankful for all the men that fought for our country and what they went through.

Memorial Day Picnic!

A fun afternoon of games at the Oliver family farm!

They stock the freezer with a variety of frozen treats and everyone can have as many as they want! :-)

 It's always fun to see what they think up for games each year.  There were two teams and various things they had to do to collect points. First game was the picnic table barrel race!
