Fixing Fur

Mrs. R. from church asked if I would fix a fur coat a friend had given her a while back.  I've never sewn fur before but it turned out well - and I was even able to find propper coat clasps online to replace the missing ones!

Tapestries

A friend from church invited Mom and me to go see some tapestries from South America that were on display in a near by town.  They were so detailed! It was amazing all the work these women put into them, and each one told a story about the maker. Something about their life, or something they were hoping for etc.

Quilting Day!

Monday we girls went to quilting day and enjoyed being industrious with several friends!

Little Quilt Blocks

A pile of triangle scraps sewn into squares and made into 5 1/2" star blocks; a fun project for a cold snowy spring!

A friend recently gave us two large bags of fabric scraps, and I have been having SO much fun using some of it to make Log Cabin quilt blocks! :)

Sewing With Friends!

 Today we went to the sewing meeting in a nearby town.  It had snowed over the weekend and was so pretty outside!
